What You Need:

  • heart shaped mold
  • chocolate melts/choc chips
  • glass bowl
  • saucepan - large enough for the glass bowl to sit safely on
  • wooden spoon
  • tablespoon

What To Do:

  1. Caution: an adult must do this step. Pour a little water into the saucepan (about a 1/4 full) and put on a medium heat.

  2. Pour in the choc melts into the glass bowl.

  3. Caution: an adult must do this step. Put the glass bowl onto the saucepan, and stir regularly with wooden spoon until well melted. Once you have an even mixture that has completely melted, turn off heat and remove the bowl.

  4. Once mixture has cooled slightly, spoon chocolate into mold using a tablespoon.

  5. Clean off excess and place in fridge to harden.

  6. While your goodies harden - lick the spoon.

  7. Once the melted liquid has gone hard again, remove hearts from mold.

  8. "Taste test" to make sure that they are good. Don't eat all of them though, but give a few to someone you love.
